THANK YOU NSW RURAL FIRE SERVICE AND NSW STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE
The NSW Waratahs would like to offer all NSW Rural Fire Service workers and NSW State Emergency Service workers FREE tickets to our game against the Auckland Blues on the Saturday 8 February at McDonald Jones Stadium.
By showing your NSW Rural Fire Service, Fire and Rescue ID or NSW Sate Emergency Service ID at our Membership tent as you arrive, you will receive free entry to sit in our General Admission area.
This is just a small gesture the NSW Waratahs can offer the NSW RFS and the NSW SES for the incredible and generous work they do day-to-day, protecting life, homes and wildlife – especially in recent months.
The NSW Waratahs will always be thankful for the selfless efforts of all of our NSW Rural Fire Service and the NSW SES personnel to protect our beautiful state.
NSW Rugby is doing its bit to assist rural communities ravaged by drought and fire, as part of a season-long awareness and fundraising campaign in partnership with Rural Aid.
The campaign – raising funds for Rural Aid’s Disaster Relief Fund – will directly support farmers and their families via the many fantastic initiatives coordinated by Rural Aid.
Rural Aid was founded in 2015 to provide a holistic support program to rural Australia, built off the back of the very successful Buy a Bale campaign. Today, Rural Aid boasts a number of wonderful initiatives including, fodder (hay) and domestic water deliveries, financial assistance, Community and Farm Rescue and access to counselling.
