Throw on a flanno, a cowboy hat and your dancing shoes and support drought-affected communities at Australia’s biggest bush dance at Martin Place on 22 October.

Dance for the Drought is raising funds for the 'Get Talkin' Tour - an initiative of the NSW Positive Rugby Foundation and youth mental health organisation batyr, that takes mental health education to regional NSW.

One in five Aussies will experience a mental health condition in any given year and the odds worsen for those living in regional areas.

A person living in rural and remote NSW is twice as likely to die as a result of suicide as a person living in Sydney.

Add to this the pressure of ongoing drought and loss of income on families, and it’s imperative that more needs to be done to support regional communities.

The 'Get Talkin' Tour launched in November 2018 and to date has visited 22 towns, reaching over 3000 people, giving them the knowledge and skills to take charge of their mental health.

But it doesn't stop there, even more communities need our support, and we're calling on you to help us get there.

Make a tax-deductible donation of $30 or more and you will receive a complimentary cowboy hat to wear at the event!
