NRC Round 5 Teams: NSW Country and Sydney

by Waratahs Media

NSW Country will play out of Port Macquarie as they host the Western Force, while Chris Whitaker’s Sydney side will run out at Forshaw against the Melbourne Rising.

Both sides remain largely unchanged, the Eagles lose Pat Tafa to injury after a strong display against the Brisbane City last weekend, while Cameron Clark is an omission for Sydney.

Mitch Short returns to the starting side and will again combine with Will Harrison in the halves and James Ramm returns after sickness ruled him out in Round 4.

Joey Walton (Eagles) and Triston Rielly (Sydney) join their respective starting XV’s – with Ben Donaldson returning from injury, joined by Michael McDonald on the bench for Sydney.
