What’s more, 2020 Memberships will be available via the organisation’s new website – nsw.rugby – as they officially join Rugby Australia’s digital ecosystem.

Memberships for 2020 have been simplified as the NSW Waratahs await the completion of reconstruction works at the Sydney Football Stadium (SFS), factoring in the multiple venues the team will call home next season.

Locations confirmed for the 2020 season include McDonald Jones Stadium (Newcastle), WIN Stadium (Wollongong) and Bankwest Stadium (Parramatta) with further venues to be confirmed in early November.

NSWRU General Manager of Marketing and Communications, Sally Fitzsimmons said that Membership prices had been reduced to accommodate these temporary arrangements while continuing to provide value for money.

“The organisation has made a commitment to taking the [NSW] Waratahs around the state while the SFS is being reconstructed,” Fitzsimmons said.

“It’s been a really positive initiative to see the professional game being played in multiple venues outside Sydney, which is something we’ve factored into pricing for 2020 Memberships.

“Pricing has been reduced for full season Membership, with two free games also included.

“We’ll also have Four Game Flexi, Two Game Flexi and Country Memberships available – ensuring anyone across New South Wales can join us for the 2020 [Vodafone] Super Rugby season in a way that best suits them.”

For the first time a NSW Waratahs Women’s Membership will be available, including access to all Buildcorp Super W games as well as one Super Rugby home fixture.

All proceeds from the Membership will be directly invested into women’s rugby programs and the development of the game in NSW.

The coinciding launch of NSW Rugby and the Waratahs new website marks the completion of another significant project in 2019.

Home to a new URL – nsw.rugby – and a suite of features from Rugby Australia’s digital network, the website launch is the first step in a phased transition set for completion in early-2020.

NSW Waratahs fans will have access to information on players, fixtures and Membership plus a range of new content courtesy of the organisation’s transition onto this platform.

General Manager of Marketing and Digital at Rugby Australia, Adam Freier welcomed the addition of the NSW Waratahs to the game’s digital network.

“As part of Rugby Australia’s network, Waratahs fans will be able to access even more content in 2020, from live RUGBY.com.au Radio, live streaming of all Buildcorp Super W, NRC and Aon Uni7s matches, as well all of their [NSW] Waratahs highlights from Vodafone Super Rugby,” Freier said.

“They have done an incredible job in aligning the professional game to the community, and now have been able to bring the code together even closer together as part of one web platform.”
