NSW have started strongly at the National Youth 7s tournament on the Sunshine Coast, notching 13 wins, 1 draw and a loss across 15 matches in all divisions.

Our Youth Girls sit atop groups A and B respectively and the Youth Boys are at the top of their pools, with NSW 2 only bettered on points difference by QLD 2 following a thrilling 24-all draw earlier in the day.

The tries have been shared amongst the Youth Boys squad, with Ben Dowling and Charles Worthington scoring plenty of points.

For the Youth Girls, Bronti Westaway notched a hat-trick against the ACT while Kiiahla Duff also found the line regularly across the day.

After losing out in their first of four games against QLD our U15 girls won three straight.

The teams will return to Sunshine Coast Stadium for the last round of group games and finals.
