The NSW Waratahs have revealed their home and away playing kits for the 2020 Vodafone Super Rugby season.

In partnership with new apparel partner, XBlades the team will wear what is a predominately sky blue jersey at home, while they will run out in a white jersey with sky blue hoops on the road in 2020.

NSWRU General Manager of Rugby, Tim Rapp said he was pleased to see XBlades putting a fresh spin on the traditional colours of the NSW Waratahs.

“It’s been a collaborative process between ourselves and the team at XBlades to get to this point and I think both jerseys look great,” Rapp said.

“They’ve been able to maintain the tradition of our home jersey which is great to see, our sky blue uniform is synonymous with the state of New South Wales and something playing groups both past and present have a strong connection to.

“The feedback from across the playing group has been overwhelmingly positive.

“The teamwear and off-field range has also been really popular, it’s well and truly handed what’s already been a tough pre-season.”

With over 25 years of experience in working with elite athletes at the pinnacles of Australian sport, XBlades dedication to constant innovation has helped them produce state-of-the-art fabrics and technologies – creating next-generation apparel suited to the modern athlete.
