The Waratahs will have on open training session before their Round 6 clash with the Chiefs.

Ahead of their clash with the Chiefs at WIN Stadium, the NSW Waratahs will be holding an open training session for fans on Thursday 5 March.

The Captain’s Run – starting at 4:15pm – will be the team’s final session before the Round 6 fixture, with a signing session for fans directly afterwards.

Held at WIN Stadium, it will be a chance to see the boys go through their paces ahead of their match the following night!

As well as featuring South Coast locals, Jed Holloway and Mitch Short, local fans will see some of NSW’s and Australia’s best in their own backyard.

The match against the Chiefs is set to be huge clash for Rob Penney’s side, with the Waikato-based franchise starting the 2020 season strongly.

It’ll be a fantastic night of rugby at WIN Stadium, so be sure to grab your tickets here.

The initiative is part of NSW Rugby’s approach to taking Super Rugby around the state during the redevelopment of the Sydney Football Stadium.

With a match in Newcastle and one to follow in Tamworth, the NSW Waratahs are engaging with fans that don’t regularly get access to top-flight rugby in their region.

The NSW Waratahs open training session at WIN Stadium is free, however tickets must be redeemed prior to the event for security purposes.
