NSW Rugby is pleased to today announce the players who have been selected in the NSWRU Under 17 Youth 7s teams.

Following the State Sevens Championships in late 2020, two extended train on squads (boys and girls) were selected, before the final trial on 16-17 January.

15 boys and 15 girls have been selected to take part in the teams, which at this stage, are set to compete in a State of Origin series at the end of the month.

NSWRU Senior Manager - Rugby 7s Michael Doyle said that he was pleased to today announce the final teams.

“The Under 17’s players showed great talent and skills at both the State Sevens Championships and training sessions that were held across the Christmas/New Years period and I’m looking forward to seeing them in action,” Doyle said.

“At this stage the State of Origin is still going ahead, but we’ll continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and the current border restrictions that are in place.”

Congratulations to the following players who have been selected.
