The NSW Waratahs have named their team to face the Melbourne Rebels in round three of the Buildcorp Super W.

Waratahs Head Coach Campbell Aitken has welcomed back six new players to his starting side after late withdrawals forced numerous changes to his side late in the week against the Force.

Grace Hamilton returns and will captain the side at No. 8 with the team attempting to win an incredible 21st straight Super W match.

Sera Naiqama makes a welcome return from an ankle injury suffered in an internal trial at Bowral via the bench, while Kaitlan Leaney moves from blindside into the second row alongside Atasi Lafai.

Layne Morgan starts her first match of Super W and partners the inform flyhalf of the competition Pauline Piliae in the halves.

Margot Vella switches wings to allow Lori Cramer to wear the 11 jersey, while Georgina Friedrichs returns to the starting side at outside center forming a dangerous midfield combination alongside Katrina Barker.

The competition’s leading try-scorer Mahalia Murphy (four in two matches) rounds out the side at full-back.

Piper Duck returns to the side after touring with the Australian Sevens team on their recent trip to the USA and will look to add plenty of impact late in the game off the bench.

The Super W fixture will be the curtain-raiser to the men’s match, kicking off at 5:15pm.
