The NSW Waratahs are proud to announce that the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation has renewed and broadened its Partnership with NSW Rugby Union for a further season.

The partnership will see Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation as the official charity of the four-time Super W Championship winning Waratahs and see the SBCF logo continue to feature on the back of the jersey for the 2023 season, which kicks off this Friday 24 March against the Western Force at Allianz Stadium.

Sydney Breast Cancer Foundations Platinum Partnership will also see its support for the Waratahs broadened to include not only the Super W team, but also as the Platinum Partner of Sydney Women's Rugby Union, Major Partner of Sydney Women's 10's Tournament and Major Partner of Sydney Women's Sevens Tournament.

Under the new agreement, the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation will have their logo on the upper back of the jersey position of the NSW Waratahs Women, NSW Sevens Open Women's Team, and NSW U17 Girls Team jersey, as well as the Waratahs Women's Senior Academy and Girls Gen Blue U18 Academy jerseys.

The NSW Waratahs and Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation have been working together since 2018, and the renewed partnership reflects the ongoing commitment of both organizations to supporting women's rugby and promoting breast cancer awareness to the broader community.

"The NSW Waratahs are excited to continue our partnership with the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation," said Paul Doorn, NSW Rugby CEO.

"Together, we have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community and continue to support women's rugby at all levels. With the expanded designations and jersey placements, we are looking forward to showcasing the SBCF logo on more of our teams and players."

Foundation Chair, Lynne Crookes OAM, said, "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the NSW Waratahs and to expand our support of women's rugby in Sydney. With the increased exposure on the jerseys and the expanded designations, we hope to raise greater awareness of breast cancer and encourage more women to get regular screenings."
