The rising stars of the NSW Waratahs will be looking to defend the titles secured last year as Canberra prepares to host the Super Rugby Men’s U16 and U19 Finals this Sunday.

Having won the national U16 and U19 competitions in 2022, the Waratahs will head to Seiffert Oval with the chance to go back-to-back in both age groups.

The U19s Final will see NSW face the table-topping ACT Brumbies, who claimed a dramatic two-point victory when the two sides last clashed in Round 1.

The Brumbies secured hosting rights for the Finals with a come-from-behind 21-17 win over Queensland Reds at Ballymore Stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile the Waratahs will head into the U16s Final high on confidence after finishing the regular season undefeated and boasting a positive points differential of 190.

Their opponents in the Reds will be looking to flip the script, having been on the receiving end of a 38-10 defeat just three weeks ago.

The Super Rugby U16s and U19s Finals will be broadcast live, on-demand and ad-free on Stan Sport.

The Super Rugby U16s and U19s serve an important role in rugby's development pathway, giving more than 300 of Australia's most talented juniors a valuable insight into the professional game.

The competitions also present an opportunity for players to press their claims for national selection, with the Junior Wallabies shaping up for another World Rugby U20 Championship campaign in 2024.
