Archer Holz

A proud New South Welshman, Archer Holz serves as an exciting prospect for the NSW Waratahs as a young prop with tremendous potential. Holz grew up in Lightning Ridge, a small outback town in north-western NSW, and later attended the Kings school in Parramatta, playing GPS and Australian Barbarians in 2018. Holz also played First Grade Colts in 2019 straight out of high school with the Eastern Suburbs in the Shute Shield, before making his First Grade debut for the club as a twenty-year old under current Waratahs Forwards coach Pauli Taumoepeau. His strong showings in the Shute Shield saw the Brumbies offer the promising prop a contract for their 2021 Super Rugby campaign where Holtz made his debut in Round 4 of the Super Rugby AU against the Reds. The Tahs secured Holz in Sky-Blue in 2021 and could not be more psyched to see him deliver damage in the 2023 season of the Super Rugby Pacific Competition.
