Piper Duck (Waratah #160) is the youngest Waratahs captain to date for the Super Women's Competition.

The 22-year-old has been committed to Rugby from an early age despite a limited access to pathways when she first started.

Duck’s first ever game of footy was for the Tumut Bullettes at the later age of 15 (2016) with the country girl moving to Sydney shortly after to fulfil her rugby dreams (2017).

The Wagga-born back-rower later progressed to School Girl 7s where she represented Barker College (2017) and played AON 7s for Sydney University before attending her first 15s tournament with the Wallaroos A side in Fiji.

While Duck represented Gordon at a junior level and Sydney University at a senior level, Duck has been committed to sky blue since 2020.

Injuries have halted Duck at a national level in recent years with the popular squad member looking to get back into the gold jersey for the World Cup in 2025.
