Signing a two-year deal until 2021, Tepai Moeroa has added some depth to the Waratahs midfield stocks. Following a six-year stint in rugby league, the former Australian Schoolboy has returned to learn from dual international Karmichael Hunt. Moeroa, was a standout in the centres in his juniors being capped nine times for the Australian Schoolboys between 2012 and 2013. Posing as a dangerous weapon in attack, Moeroa’s addition to the squad adds strength and size to the backline. A product of Newington College, he also brings international experience to the Waratahs squad having competed for the Cook Islands, the World XIII and Prime Ministers XIII during his days in rugby league.
