Biography

Tom Robertson is one of the real anchors of the NSW Waratahs front row in what will be his fifth year at the club. He was flagged as one of Dubbo’s brightest young rugby prospects and in 2016 he put on the sky-blue jersey for the first time. One of 10 players to make his debut that year, it quickly became a breakout year for the young prop with a call up to the Wallabies squad. His Test debut came soon against Argentina in Perth. Robertson managed to juggle his fast-tracked rugby career whilst studying a medical degree at Sydney University, completing his Bachelor of Medical Science (majoring in Physiology and Pharmacology) in 2015. Prior to joining the Waratahs, Robertson also represented the Australian Schoolboys and U20s on three occasions. In 2012, he was part of the Schoolboys side that defeated New Zealand and in 2014 earnt selection in the U20s World Championship squad.
