Recently debuting for the Wallaroos in 2022, Layne Morgan is a halfback with solid hands and flair. The Wallaroo Number 188 has been a standout for the NSW Waratahs with her pace, quick hands and team-player nature.
Morgan’s rugby journey kickstarted with Rugby Sevens when she was 16, before going to the Youth Commonwealth games, AON 7s and some international tournaments before transferring to the 15 aside game at 19 years old. Morgan hasn’t looked back since, excelling in the Jack Scott Cup for the Eastern Suburbs, the NSW Waratahs Super W and Rugby World Cup. The Tahs could not be more excited to have Morgan locked in Sky-Blue for the 2023 season of the Buildcorp Super W Rugby Competition.
