Working with Juniors, Country and Schools to develop constitutions that supported collaboration
Working with ASRU and then RA to ensure continued relevance and support of Schools Rugby
Organised and co-ordinated the Australian Schools Championships after covid
Along with Alex Butt, implemented the girls sevens Invitationals at the Aus Schools Champs as exhibition games
The invitationals were the precursor to the Australian Schoolgirls Sevens competition held at the ASRU Champs and the forming of the Aust Schoolgirls Sevens team
Worked with RA to bring together both schools and Australian Juniors at the National Junior Championships in July.
Multiple working groups regarding association (CAS) game scheduling
Instrumental in removing full school fixtures from the long weekend in June which directly affected the NSW State Championships
To support the work of the 3 groups that make up NSW Juniors
- The role is a supportive one to ensure that the good work done by all 3 groups continues
- To ensure recognition of all the volunteers at all competitions and levels
- To ensure that all 3 groups are represented at the NSW Board level and issues are conveyed appropriately
To continue to work toward a genuine schools competition that reinvigorates and reinstates the Waratah Shield as the premier age group competition
To instigate the process that provides a “home” for NSW Juniors
