NSW Rugby would like to highlight the online education courses that are available through the Rugby AU Rugby Xplorer platform.
Players, coaches, referees and team managers all have access to Rugby Xplorer - which alongside the Rugby Learning Centre includes Rugby AU’s video resources, Rugby AU Laws website and the World Rugby Activate program.
There are plenty of free and paid courses/programs that people can access online.
The below courses are designed for coaches, referees but also for those involved in rugby wanting to upskill.
Smart Rugby is the Australian Rugby Union’s flagship course for building coach and match official understanding of safety considerations both on and off the field.
Kids Coaching is all about having fun, keeping the kids active and teaching them the basic skills.
Designed to provide those who enrol in the Coach Level 1 accreditation with the skills and knowledge to effectively coach the tactical & technical aspects of each element of the game.
The course is aimed at first time and beginner coaches (eg. parents).
The Game Management Guidelines Course outline the Law changes and refereeing emphasis for the game in 2020.
