1. Create a Rugby Xplorer account to gain a MyRugby ID (if you haven’t already). Click here for Rugby Xplorer Portal

2. Enrol in a ref association and register for the ‘Referee Ready’ role (if not registered to a club on RX in the current calendar year) - this allows you access to the learning centre on RX portal.

3. Enrol in a Referee Ready session on the Learning Centre - click on the learning centre tab on RX Portal menu, ⟶ click ‘training library’, ⟶ click ‘view courses’ under ‘referee - game facilitator’ ⟶ click ‘enrol’ under ‘referee ready’

4. Join a referee association following completion of the Referee Ready course. Click here to find your local referee association.

5. Start refereeing!

1. Access the Rugby Xplorer Portal - Click Here to access the login page
2. Click on the 'Register' tab in the portal menu
3. Click on 'Find a Club'
4. Select the person who wants to register
5. Search for the referee association by name 
6. Select 'Match Official' for the Role; select 'Referee/Referee Coach/Asst Referee' under Registration Type if you want to be appointed to games; select 'Season'
7. Add or confirm your personal details
8. Add or edit your profile photo
9. Add or confirm your Additional details
10. Add or confirm your 'Emergency Contact Details'
11. Answer the Additional Questions (if there are any)
12. Confirm the details of your registration, tick the box at the bottom and "Pay" for your registration
