A potent midfield weapon and on-field leader. Made NSW Waratahs debut in 2018, then played in thirteen games for the team. From Hamilton, New Zealand, first played rugby for the Manly Roos U13s as half-back. Then played for Balgowlah Boys High School before earning a scholarship to The Kings School where he played in the First XV in 2011 and 2012. First major imprint in rugby was with the Manly Marlins in Sydney. Then selected in Australian U20s in 2013 and 2014. Super Rugby debut with Melbourne Rebels in 2014. After spells with Bayonne, France and Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, returned to NSW in 2018. Selected for the Wallabies in 2021 squad and earned first Test cap in side’s final Test of that year against Wales in Cardiff. Nickname is ‘La’
