Mahe Vailanu

Joining the club in 2022, Mahe Vailanu serves as a mighty hooker for the NSW Waratahs. Vailanu’s rugby journey began when he got selected for a Tongan U14s team for a New Zealand Tour, before he moved to New Zealand the following year after a scholarship offer from rugby nursery Auckland Grammar. Since graduating school, Vailanu moved across the ditch to Australia and has represented the Melbourne Rebels before joining the Sky-Blue. The Tahs could not be more grateful to have Vailanu on board and can’t wait to see him in action in the 2023 season of the Super Rugby Competition.
