The team travel to the Central West this weekend where they’ll face Melbourne Rebels Women at Bathurst on Sunday.
The team has won three from three and the team is aiming to maintain their unblemished record.
“It’s important we finish the regular season with a win,” said Head Coach Matt Evrard.
“This is not the time to get complacent. Even though we’re through to the finals we need to keep the momentum going as we approach the decision end of the season,”
Evrard said the team was looking forward to playing at Bathurst.
“There’s players in the team who got their start in the central west and they’re excited to be going home.
“Just like our men’s team, we’re proud to take our top-tier competition around the regions.
“The Central West is a supportive community with a proud rugby history. We’re looking forward to it.”
While in Bathurst, the Waratahs Women will attend a girls Combine on Saturday where young rugby players aged between 15-18 can participate in skill testing and contact assessment with Waratahs Women players. The event will take place between 4-6pm at Anne Ashwood Park, Hereford Street Bathurst.
The NSW Waratahs Women take on Melbourne Rebels Women on Sunday 24 March at 3pm. Tickets are available at the game with all NSW Waratahs members and registered junior season pass holders getting in for free. Full Details
