The Positive Rugby Foundation (PRF) has partnered with iSponsor in the lead up to Christmas, allowing the rugby community to help support the local game by simply doing their Christmas shopping.

iSponsor – an app that helps support charities, sporting clubs and organisations – will be helping the PRF to provide direct support to community rugby across New South Wales.

iSponsor is available to download via the App Store or Google Play and allows people to purchase from brands and outlets online, with a small percentage of their purchase going directly to an organisation of their choice.

It’s the simple way to show your support, by using iSponsor as your preferred portal for purchases – engaging with businesses who have committed to providing funds to community organisations.

Head of the Positive Rugby Foundation, Greg Mumm said he was excited to be an early adopter of this latest innovation in supporting community organisations.

“We love this concept from the team at iSponsor and its ability to support grassroots rugby across the state,” Mumm said.

"We know it has been a tough year for everyone, so finding innovative ways for people to support rugby without having to spend more was a really attractive part of this partnership.

“In the lead up to Christmas we’re encouraging everyone involved in our game to get involved and do their Christmas shopping via iSponsor, with all money raised going to the provision of Development Officers and programs across New South Wales.

“You simply download the app, register, nominate ‘Positive Rugby Foundation’ as your organisation of choice and make any purchase.

“This is a really innovative way for people to support charities and clubs of all types and we’re excited to contribute to community rugby off the back of the Christmas period.

Richard Siganto, Founder of iSponsor said 2021 is going to be a challenging year for all clubs as communities come back together.

“A few of the clubs and charities that are making use of the app have remarked how much easier that challenge is already knowing their members will be contributing to cash flow just by having the app,” said Siganto.

“It's really warming to hear that you've made something which is actually helping people.

“The whole team here at iSponsor are excited to have PRF on board. We both value sport, inclusion and know through this partnership we are contributing to happier, healthier people.”
