Four’N Twenty has announced a naming rights partnership with the NSW Suburban Rugby Union (NSWSRU), one of the largest rugby unions in Australia, with 50 clubs playing in over 20 competitions across metropolitan Sydney.

In a revolutionary development for Australian grassroots rugby, Four’N Twenty’s sponsorship will enable NSWSRU to broadcast suburban games on NSW Rugby TV powered by Cluch, throughout the 2021 season. For the first time ever, in Divisions One, Two and Three, all 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and Colts matches will be available on Live Stream and On Demand replays for fans across Australia and around the world.

This move will have a positive impact on the sport and its fans, taking Suburban Rugby to the largest audience in its 120-year history.
The three-year deal will see the renowned yellow and red Four’N Twenty logo on player jerseys, first-grade match footballs as well as ground signage at every game. The beloved Four’N Twenty pie will also be available at the grounds for fans to enjoy while watching the game they love.

“Four’N Twenty is synonymous with sport and we’re excited to enhance the fan experience on game day, whether that be on the sidelines, in the stands, or at home,” said Patties Foods CEO, Paul Hitchcock. “By broadcasting every local NSW Suburban Rugby Union match we’ll make sure nobody will have to miss watching their local club, no matter where in the world they are.”

NSW Rugby Union CEO, Paul Doorn is excited for the partnership and says there has never been a better time to be involved in Subbies Rugby, with the integration of NSW Rugby TV. “We are delighted to have proud partners, Four’N Twenty as the official naming rights sponsor for the NSW Suburban Rugby Union,” said Paul Doorn.

“Suburban Rugby is key to the development of the game and in a digital age we have an opportunity to grow it further, with both Four’N Twenty’s support and the exclusive coverage via NSW Rugby TV, powered by Cluch.”

John Morrison, the Chairman of the NSWSRU, says this sponsorship is one of the biggest innovations for the Union in decades: “This sponsorship deal with Four‘N Twenty Pies now allows us to broadcast games to an audience never reached before, raising the game’s profile and allowing former players to watch their old clubs through NSW Rugby TV powered by Cluch,” he said. “It is literally a game-changer for Subbies Rugby and it couldn’t have been done without Four’N Twenty’s support.”
