The Positive Rugby Foundation (PRF) have partnered with iSponsor to provide Rugby clubs in NSW with an innovative fundraising tool.

The iSponsor app (available to download via the App Store or Google Play) allows people to purchase from brands and outlets online, with a small percentage of their purchase going directly to an organization or club of their choice.

The easy-to-use shopping app turns everyday spending into fundraising dollars, revolutionising sponsorship and fundraising by connecting sporting clubs, P&Cs and other charities to local businesses.

Head of the Positive Rugby Foundation, Peter Murphy said he was excited to bring on iSponsor as their first Corporate Partner and to have two fundraising arms working together towards a common goal.

“We love this concept from the team at iSponsor and its ability to support grassroots rugby across the state,” Murphy said.

"The past 18 months have been a tough time for everyone, so finding innovative ways for Rugby clubs to fundraise and form connections with their local community was a really attractive part of this partnership.

“This is a really advanced way for people to support Rugby and for clubs to fundraise, so we’re excited to be a part of it”.

Richard Siganto, Founder of iSponsor said 2021 has been a challenging year for all, with many clubs, communities and businesses still separated.

“This relationship is extremely exciting for iSponsor and the Positive Rugby Foundation has been a beacon of help and guidance from the start,” Siganto said.

“Working in collaboration with the PRF to secure constant funding for all Rugby clubs in NSW is a testament to both organisations and their visions.

“For many clubs it's not enough to donate money these days, so if we can create a sustainable income and help the local businesses grow as well, even better.

“If iSponsor can be a catalyst to help both small business and the clubs they support not only survive but prosper we have done our job.”
