The draw for the 2024 Buildcorp Super Rugby Women's season has been revealed, with more double-headers than ever before to help shine a light on the elite women's game.

Next year's five-round plus two-week finals series, will feature a record 12 matches to be played alongside Super Rugby Pacific fixtures in both Australia and Fiji.

The NSW Waratahs Women’s team will have three doubleheaders with the NSW Waratahs men’s at Allianz Stadium facing the Brumbies, Rebels, and Reds. They will also play a historic match when they take on the Drua in another doubleheader in Fiji in 2024.

The 2024 season will also see additional investment into new women's high-performance environments and player development pathways, with the Next Gen Sevens evolving into the Super Rugby Women's 7s competition and the launch of an all-new Super Rugby Women's U19 competition.

The NSW Waratahs have also announced a new full-time Director of Women’s Rugby role, a first across the Australian teams.

NSW Waratahs CEO Paul Doorn is thrilled to be hosting three doubleheaders in 2024, “we’ve worked collaboratively with our partners at Venues NSW to be able to host the Waratahs Women’s games as double headers with our men’s team”.

“We are investing heavily in growing our women’s program and we are in the process of appointing Australia’s first fulltime Director of Women’s Rugby”.

With all matches broadcast live and on-demand on Stan Sport, it will be easier than ever for rugby fans to support their NSW Waratahs.
