As part of our ongoing commitment to grassroots rugby throughout the state, the NSW Waratahs are delighted to once again offer free entry to all Waratahs men’s and women’s home games in 2024 for registered NSW junior players.
In an upgrade to previous years, the NSW Waratahs have enhanced the free entry offering from under 16’s and below to under 18's and below.
In 2024, we celebrate 150 years of rugby in NSW in what is a tremendous milestone for the game.
This special milestone encapsulates all levels of the NSW rugby community, from the Under 8’s in the Tamworth Tri Colours to our Waratahs men’s and women’s teams.
It’s a celebration for everyone involved in our wonderful game.
“We’re delighted to once again offer all registered junior players free entry to our home games this season,” said Waratahs CEO, Paul Doorn.
“Community rugby is the lifeblood of our game and we’re determined to support our junior clubs as best as we can.
“Our home ground, Allianz Stadium, is the envy of the Super Rugby competition and we’re excited to enhance our game-day experience in 2024. I look forward to seeing the boys and girls from our junior clubs and their families supporting the Waratahs at Allianz Stadium this season.”
On the field, the Waratahs possess a roster brimming with young talent that is ready to take the competition by storm.
Most of these emerging stars are local juniors who have progressed through the NSW pathways system and are now coming into the premier phase of their careers, such as star fullback Max Jorgensen
“I remember being told that we could get free tickets to Waratahs games back when I was playing for the Balmain juniors,” said Jorgensen.
“It’s a great initiative that the Waratahs do to support the game at a grassroots level.
“I can’t wait to see all the junior players in the stands at Allianz Stadium this season cheering us on, just like I did when I was a kid.”
