The NSW Waratahs have had the perfect start to the day ahead of their homecoming to Allianz stadium, with the Waratahs A side running out 50-24 winners over the Brumby Runners at Daceyville.

The home side dominated from the kick-off with a near-perfect opening 40 minutes of rugby, putting the game to bed by half-time, with a clinical display of brutal defence and flashes of brilliance in attack.

Teddy Wilson and Jack Bowen steered the side around with a composed performance in the halves, while centres Mosese Tuipulotu and Harry Wilson proved a handful throughout the match.

The Waratahs pack dominated the Brumbies in the contact area, stifling their attack, while Rahboni Warren-Vosayaco was the picks of the forwards, running amuck and setting up two tries in the first half with some power running.

The Waratahs start of the game set the tone for the match, regaining the ball of their kick off and stretching the Brumbies defence through multiple phases before a pick and drive from close range for an easy score.

Jack Bowen grabbed the second try of the match with a grubber and regather for himself, before another pick and drive from the forwards added a third.

Harry Wilson scored the try of the game, with the Waratahs scrum monstering the Brumbies before the backs cut the opposition to ribbons, running coast to coast for the try.

The Waratahs put the game to bed with tries to Hendren and Ward for a half-time lead of 34-0.

The Brumbies tried to work their way back into the game, scoring two tries through their rolling maul but a charge down try to Michael Icely and a powerful run from Sateki Latu ended any chance of a comeback.

Two late tries to the Brumbies left the score 50-26 to the Waratahs.
