NSW Waratahs Women are ready to take on the reigning champs in a must-win Semi-Final clash this Sunday.

Waratahs Head Coach Campbell Aitken has named his match-day 23, which features numerous players returning from injury.

Emily Robinson returns to the starting team as the second most capped Waratah (25 caps), partnering Adiana Talakai and Bridie O’Gorman in the front row.

The versatile Leilani Nathan (5 caps) reverts from the backrow to lock, partnering and Sera Naiqama (18 caps) in the second row.

The back row sees the destructive trio reunited. Grace Hamilton, who reached her 50-point milestone last weekend will be battling alongside Fi Jones and captain Piper Duck who both return after two weeks on the sideline.

Layne Morgan and Ella Ryan are back together in the halves. Morgan scored a double last time the Tahs faced Drua and will be looking for another dominant performance this weekend.

Katrina Barker (24 caps) pairs with Georgina Friedrichs (16 caps) in the centres.

Desiree Miller starts on the left wing, her role as goal kicker is significantly important this week. Maya Stewart returns to the starting line-up and looks to add another try to her already impressive tally (23 tries).

Youngster Caitlin Halse will start at fullback in her first Finals appearance.

Aitken has a strong bench that will look to close the game. Amosa, Hoy and Chapple will replace the front row and Ebbage and Mailangi will be huge assets late in the game.

Bird, Sheridan and Windsor are the replacement backs.

After a dominant victory over Drua earlier this year, the Waratah Women won’t forget the feeling of losing to Fijiana in the finals. This Sunday a spot in the Grand Final awaits, kick off 12:30 PM at Concord Oval – TICKETS HERE
