The NSW Waratahs, in collaboration with Principal Partner NRI, are excited to unveil our eye catching pink jersey design, which is aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer and much-needed funds for the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Waratahs and the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation have been working together since 2018, and recently announced an expanded partnership for the 2024 season.

The pink jerseys will be proudly worn in Rugby for Good Charity Round (Round 4) when the Waratahs take on the Blues at Allianz Stadium on Saturday 16 March.

As the day will be a tantalising double-header, the NSW Waratahs Women’s side will also be showing their support to raise awareness for breast cancer by wearing pink laces on their boots in their earlier match against the ACT Brumbies.

The Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation will proudly feature on the upper back of the four-time championship-winning Waratahs Women’s jerseys throughout this season.

After the Waratahs Men’s game, the match-worn jerseys will be auctioned off online with all proceeds to be donated to the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

The jerseys won’t be available for retail sale, which makes them an even more enticing piece of Waratahs memorabilia, whilst also supporting a worthwhile cause.

“The NSW Waratahs are thrilled to be able to further support the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation,” said NSW Waratahs CEO, Paul Doorn.

“The jerseys look fantastic and we’re grateful to have such innovative and collaborative partners such as NRI.

“The Waratahs relish the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community and will continue to raise awareness of the wonderful work of the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.”

CEO of NRI Australia and New Zealand, Dean Langenbach, was similarly delighted to be able to join forces in raising awareness for breast cancer and valuable funds for the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

“NRI is proud to partner with the NSW Waratahs to deliver this incredibly important initiative”, said Dean Langenbach

“Being able to give back to our communities and to support organisations such as the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation is a privilege, and we are grateful to have the partnership of the Waratahs to do it.

“The Rugby for Good Charity Round not only supports those currently dealing with the challenges of breast cancer, it also drives community awareness and understanding while raising essential funds to combat this disease in the future.”
