"Edstart is getting involved with NSW Rugby as we’re already helping many families manage their school fees as well as rugby and travel costs. We wanted to take that to the next level and get more involved with the rugby community, especially at the grassroots level,” Stevens said.

"One of the things we’re most excited about is launching the Edstart Junior Rugby Scholarship Program where we’re able to help ease the burden of the cost of getting kids into and having a go at rugby."

NSWRU General Manager of Rugby, Tim Rapp said that Edstart’s commitment to supporting grassroots rugby aligned perfectly with NSW Rugby’s commitment to junior development.

“We’re focused on developing talent through all the avenues that are available to young players in New South Wales, be it in club or school competitions,” Rapp said.

“Our Development Officers do great work in encouraging kids to get into rugby and enjoy the game, and from there we can also select talented players to join our representative age groups and Academy.

“Edstart want to assist children and their families with being involved in the game and that can only be a positive thing, it’s great to have a company on board with NSW Rugby that are so passionate about rugby.”
