The release of the Harvey Norman Super Rugby Pacific draw for 2024 has revealed an action-packed schedule headlined by fierce rivalries and fan-focused initiatives.

With a handful of match venues to be confirmed in the coming weeks, the draw has been released earlier than ever before to ensure members and fans can begin planning for their favourite fixtures.

The NSW Waratahs kick off their 150th year celebrations in spectacular fashion when one of the oldest rivalries in Australian sport reignites as we take on the Reds at Suncorp Stadium.

Round 2 will see the competition move to Melbourne for Super Round as all 12 teams converge for a three-day festival of footy at AAMI Park with the NSW Waratahs taking on defending Champions the Crusaders.

After a successful debut last season, Kids Round returns in Round 5 as the game shines a spotlight on the up-and-coming generation of players, pundits and supporters.

ANZAC Day will be honoured in Round 10 when the Waratahs take on the Chiefs at Allianz Stadium, while Culture Round in Round 12 will see the competition celebrate the diverse communities and traditions brought together by rugby when the Waratahs take on the Brumbies at home.

The 2024 draw sees the 12 teams playing 14 matches during the regular season, consisting of 11 round robin matches and three additional rivalry clashes, followed by an eight-team finals series.

NSW Waratahs CEO Paul Doorn said, “2024 marks 10 years since the NSW Waratahs won the Super Rugby Championship and just us significant, marks 150 years of NSW Rugby. What better way to kick off our celebrations than taking on our oldest rival, the Queensland Reds in round 1.”

“The 2024 season draw see’s the Waratahs play five Friday night and two Saturday night matches at the world-class Allianz Stadium”.

“We are excited to get back in front of our fans and give them something to cheer about”. In line with previous seasons all registered NSW junior rugby players aged 16 and under will be able to attend Waratah’s home matches free of charge.
